Prom 101

Makeup seems like a small element towards your prom night however it can make your outfit by tying the loose ends together. Having a simple dress could mean dramatic makeup to emphasise a feature such as the eyes. 'Make-up by Robyn' is located in the North east as a mobile make up artist. Over the last year she has successfully run this business all on her own and on average taking up to 20-25 bookings on a weekend. Over the last prom season she placed a wooping 150 bookings to perform solo.

When speaking to Robyn she said

"its something I love to do and I get great enjoyment from experimenting with colours, styles and techniques. Every client I have has a different face and therefore require or suit different styles. This is what makes it fun! It's like working with different canvas'.

During the prom season everyone seems to get manic and worry about the type of makeup they wish to have. On my instagram and facebook page I constantly post pictures of the work I do and therefore have a lot of inspiration thorught the idffrent looks depending on the person. Most of the time if they like a style they will just ask for me to change the colours to fit with their dress."
